It just depends on your strength. The gear is graded to withstand enough force that body weight is not even a consideration.
Hi Jacqueline! I visited RocVentures last week and based on my experience I would think that 2 y/o might be a bit too young (I would say that 6 or 7 might be the earliest age to make the most of everything that's offered). However, this is a great place and I would call to check if they have bellays for small children - that way your 2 and 5 y/o could climb. Hope this helped!
Yes! They now allow you to test out of a belay class if you are able to demonstrate proper and safe technique.
The only age limit is for belaying - 14 years old, minimum. Minors need to wear a helmet, too.
$8-$16 depending on activity - bouldering is $8 since no harness/belay system is needed, and $16 for belay (harassed, high climbing), and up to another $10 charge for equipment (shoes).
