Being a new CNA, and the youngest one in the facility, it was definitely hard getting used to this job when I started 6 months ago. Every facility has their own issues and is understaffed, but with our new management, they're constantly trying to make this place better &are constantly hiring new people. The residents I care for, are family to me and I treat them as so. Everyone here really does their best to care for and engage with the residents. 3 stars for- Pay is horrible for as hard as we work. 1 bath aide for everyone. Few employees and majority of agency workers are disrespectful and lazy. Often feel under appreciated with high expectations. The only reason I am staying here is for the residents.

I would NOT put any one you care about in this nursing home. They ‘misplaced’ so many of my grandmothers personal items. Never brushed her hair to where I had to cut a matted patch out of the back of her hair. If you are looking, avoid this place at all costs.

Please bath your clients. It should be a standard of care no one has to be ask for.
