Not even a 1 star. They can't get any worse. Still waiting for 2020 return which has been being processed for 6 months or more. Can't even check status online since tax season has changed. Good at taking our money though!?! They can't even answer a phone no matter what number you call. Have been trying for months!!!

Stolen Stimulus and Tax Return. No communication. No emails back. IRS needs to be shut down.
Does the IRS plan on operating in 2020 or is the plan to keep the phone lines on the automated system that doesn't offer ANY kind of help or info,same with the website. filed my taxes the first week of February and NOTHING! cant talk to anyone there

Have you gotten your refund? I mailed mine in July and still nothing! I don’t even know how to contact someone! Every time I call there’s always too many people on the line so they hang up on me. Ugh
You can't walk to their offices for help either.
They will tell you to call a number to schedule an appointment.
Though however that number is either down or so full they can't help you at all.

Go to irs.gov and there is a "where's my refund" section. That will tell you the status of your refund

Well, I'm going to say this if you had jobs over the years. You haven't filed in 10yrs you may have a problems. Also, have you receive any letters from the IRS?
I'm over qualified for all the stimulus checks....we are low income, regular tax filers, and have not recieved our 2and or 3ed checks!! IRS has had all banking info address and whatever else for years!!!! Wheres our money!

Best way is to contract them and ask about your case and what is needed to be prepared for the refund, then you make an appointment and go there.
