The business name speaks for itself. This service needs to get a grip. I had a fiber glass tub crack repair that they claimed 99% worked. Messy job. Worst of all. It simply did not work. I think they know it won't work and that was why they will never return your call after the work was completed. I tried to use a different phone to call. Lo and behold, he called. I hope I can prevent anyone else to fall in this trap.

My husband and I moved into a 1962 home in Denver knowing it needed a lot of TLC that we likely would not be able to afford immediately. My dad (Mark) suggested we consider painting some surfaces as a way to make the house feel more aesthetically pleasing while we save for our major home renovations. With the help of the Lakewood Get A Grip, my dad was able to update our bathroom and parts of our kitchen during a visit from Michigan. I could not get over the MASSIVE improvement simply painting these spaces made. Every thing feels 100% brighter, which is really helpful when you lack natural lighting. I am so grateful to have these spaces updated.

Is there an odor?

Our resurfacing does have a strong smell; however, it is not toxic and dissipates within a few hours. Our technicians always bring exhaust fans with them to jobsites. Because of our coating’s smell, we typically resurface occupied units and residential homes in the morning so that the smell has adequate time to dissipate.
