Purchased a Marcel Mouly piece from Park West in 1996. Was provided a Certificate of Authenticity, which was placed in a safe for safekeeping. I am ready to sell the piece and have come to learn that the Certificate of Authenticity given to me was for a piece of art I don't even own, and not for the piece I purchased. I just called them and was advised they can't do anything for me since that was so long ago, and that they kept poor records. Sad!!!!

Agent is continually spamming my phone. Contacted sales via email twice and asked to be removed from contact list and was ignored. Randomly found a $500 charge on my card today for a payment I did not authorize them to make. 10/11 - To follow up, I called to try and resolve this. Was passed to a different number and required to leave a voice-mail. No one has called me back.

I've found that every thing they sell has appraisals.

From what I was told by them before I purchased mine is they have records.
If you purchased from Park West, please contact them. I believe they will provide an updated value and information. They have your records on file from your purchase and have been in business for 50 years.

You should contact customer service directly. They're wonderful to work with via phone.
Call Park West with the information on the painting. They do appraisals on any painting they sell.
why are you asking a public forum this question about your statements? .....you need to contact them directly.....I wouldnt send out any art without it being paid in full first anyway

I'm just a customer also but they will appraise almost anything is my understanding $35 for the 1st appraisal & $15 for each additional.
Call your credit card company to dispute the charge. Many credit card companies have policies against sellers charging the account before the seller ships.
Whatever you do stay away from Park West!!! Good luck with your painting!
