The Detroit Rescue Mission is just for men. If you take the women's clothes there honestly they'll probably just throw them away. You would be better off taking them somewhere where women stay. I don't know if the NSO takes donations or not the women stay there. If you know where team Wellness is they take donations at both locations.

The rescue mission DRMM is a place we're u can stay for 90 @a time (90period). It has beds and dorms that u sleep in. They also feed and help with things like work, counseling and housing.

To be a client of Detroit Rescue Mission you must first have a referral through CAM. Go down to the NSO around 11 a.m. and talk to cam, AKA Southwest Solutions they can give you a referral to stay at Detroit Rescue Mission.

There's a woman's shelter on web and Woodrow Wilson

Definitely can't bring a cat. A woman has to go to the NSO first to get a referral( men too, but that you can do the next morning) and they send her to a different location. A man can just walk up to the door and get immediate temporary shelter. Women will get immediate shelter too, but a referral is necessary.

Call this number 313-993-6703 when I was there it was 90 days but if you show that you're trying to bounce back I believe they'll give you a 30 day extension
