Hi Leonard, Our Western Springs location has two courses: Treetop Adventure and Treetop Junior. Regular ticket prices for Treetop Adventure are $58 for adults (age 16+) and $38 for Youth (age 10-15). Regular ticket price for Treetop Junior is $28 (all ages). Cheers! JK
For the junior course, children can be any age but must be at least 3'3." Anyone choosing the adult course must be at least ten years old AND 4'7."
No one has died on our Chicago course. Our course utilizes a continuous-belay safety system, which means you attach your trolley at the beginning of each section and you *remain* attached until you exit the zip line at the end of each section.
Hi Tamica, At our Bemis Woods location, the regular price is $61.48 (age 16+) and $40.28 (age 10-15) for Treetop Adventure. The Treetop Journey course is $29.68 per ticket. Have a great day! JK
Hi Alyssa, Our Bemis Woods location has two separate activities. The Treetop Junior course typically sits anywhere from 15-25 feet high while the Treetop Adventure course is typically 30-40 feet high. Hope you're able to check it out for yourself soon! Cheers, KF
For the adult course, anyone under the age of sixteen must have an over-18 adult with them. The adult can supervise up to two under-16 guests at a time.
No; the course is on the Bemis Woods Forest Preserve, which is open to the public. You only have to pay if you're going to harness up and go on the course.
If you're a spectator, yes.
Hi Raymond! We have a variety of activities at our Chicago location. To learn more about the activities and their cost, please visit www.goape.com/location/illinois-chicago/ Let us know if you have any questions!
There is a web page that answers. But the cost starts at $25 for an hour.
Hi Christine, Thanks for reaching out! Our Chicago location will be opening on March 19, 2022 for the season. The best way to find out the exact availability for your desired location, date, and time is to visit GoApe.com and enter the booking portal (even if you’re not quite ready to book). We hope to see you in the trees this season! Best, BW
Gloves are $8 for youth $9 for adults. That's really all that's needed besides making sure to wear boots or gym shoes. Everything is online so you can see the final price before you purchase.
Hi Linda! Our Journey course is an introductory version of the larger course, so yes, a little easier but perfect for adults who aren't as comfortable in the trees or just want a shorter adventure.
Hi Suchit, Thanks for your interest in Go Ape! We have a maximum weight of 285lbs, which is also subject to a correct harness fit. The harness's maximum waist measurement is 43 inches and 28 inches for the leg loops (which go around the top of your thighs). If you’re unsure about the fit of the harness, feel free to come by the cabin before your booking time, and we’ll help you try one on! Our staff are trained to assess for proper harness fit (per the manufacturer's safety guidelines), so they will be able to determine if the harness fit meets our safety specifications. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions or help with anything else! See you in the trees, Doug

Hi Suzanne! Normally, our Chicago location is open through November, closes for the winter, and reopens in March or April. As you can imagine, this year has been a little strange, so keep an eye on our website! Any available times and dates will be listed there.

Hi Victor! For Treetop Adventure, adult tickets (age 16+) are $61.48, and youth (age 10-15) are $40.28. Treetop Journey tickets are all $29.68. Cheers!
Hi there, While we do accept walk-on reservations, we can only do so as availability allows. We highly recommend that you make reservations in advance as that is the only way to ensure there will be space available when you arrive. Cheers, KF
I would say most preferred. It's mostly running full. You can reserve and complete paper work online which will save you more time.
Hi George, Thanks for reaching out! Our Treetop Journey course requires there be at least one adult to supervise every 8 youth (ages 6-15) in the trees. This adult can participate, but can also supervise from the ground. Our Treetop Journey course uses a continuous belay system which means that all participants are attached from the bottom of the staircase that leads you into the trees, all the way through the bottom of the zipline when you're returned to the ground! Hope we'll see you and your granddaughter soon! KF
Hi Darcie! They're not too bad, but we do recommend bug spray to help prevent unwanted insect attention. Cheers! JK
Hi Tyler! It depends on whether you're looking at the Treetop Adventure experience or the Treetop Journey, but pricing can be found on our website for both. Group discounts are available for groups of 10+. Cheers! JK
Yes
Hi Jokubas, Yes, we will operate on Sundays for the rest of the season! To see current availability and to book your adventure, check out the booking portal on our website. Hope to see you soon! KF
Hi Catherine. Our Bemis Woods location is open through November, Saturday hours are roughly 9AM-2PM, and you don't have to, but we always encourage booking in advance. That way, you don't arrive at the course and find out we're totally booked and can't get you in the trees. Cheers, JK
We booked for 7 and I cannot recall the max amount. FYI where gloves that are made for this event , start stretching , make your coffee extra strong or drink your favorite energy drink before arriving. Do not go on a full stomach !
No. There is a high ropes course incorporated with the ziplines. You have to go through the training at site 1 and 2. From there you should go to site 3, 4, then 5 in that order. The course is designed so each site gets higher and each zipline gets longer. It's so that you can warm up for the last zipline which is 60 ft tall and 600 ft long. You could skip site 3 and 4 completely and go straight to 5, but you would still have to do the whole high ropes course on site 5 to get to the zipline.
