Best dog park in the county! The park is divided into two parts: smaller dogs and all dogs. Both are large and fully fenced in. You must have a DuPage Off-Leash pass, which costs $50 per year (free to those 65+). Poop bags available throughout the park. People are, for the most part, very friendly. The park is slated for some major renovations in 2023!

This is a really beautiful park. It's just large enough and just small enough, lol! And there are plenty of walking trails outside of the dog park as well as inside the dog park. I really appreciate that it's there.

Beautiful oasis for dogs. There is an area for smaller dogs, the grass is very well kept, there are plenty of stations to get bags for your puppy's needs, and the parking lot is very conveniently located.

Yes you need a dog park permit which you can buy on the dupage park district website
Buy at https://www.dupageforest.org/things-to-do/get-outdoors/dogs-in-preserves
All preserves are open one hour after sunrise until one hour after sunset.
Unfortunately, I have not been there recently with my dog, but I would contact the forest preserve police department and see if they might have your keys. Good luck, I hope you find your keys soon.
Off of Greene. You can turn onto it off of 75th Street.
The forest preserve has no admission fee, although a permit may be required for a picnic with a group. Call first. The DP requires a permit and the rangers do check. Not frequently but you never know when they will show up.
I agree with the other responses, although in the past three years I've had my permit checked only three or four times. If you use the park without one you definitely do so at your own risk.
