What you're really paying for is the convenience of being at the heart of Yellowstone and being in a hotel that looks amazing inside the lobby, but other than that, expect your stay to be the worst place you've stayed. For starters, service was awful. They checked me in, but said I needed to pick up the key in about 30min since the room wasn't ready. Sure, no problem. 30 minutes pass, and I try to pick up my key, to which they say they've lost it and i need to recheck in... Why? Anyways, get rechecked in, got my keys, go up to my room only to find out they gave me the wrong keys as the door wouldn't open. Got the right key and got in... Now as far as the room goes, for $300/night, I was expecting something decent. Not 5 start hotel, but not a 1 star either. This was pretty bad. The room walls are super thin, that you can hear pretty much everyone talking. Window barely opened, so even when it was 50 degrees out, the room was easily in the high 80s, making sleep unbearable.

The property was amazing. The staff was wonderful. The location was simply unbeatable. However, our rooms were small and rundown, the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable, no internet, and the food wasn’t good. To be fair it’s clear they handle us tourists on a Disney-esque scale, but it could be a heck of a lot better for the premium prices being charged. If I had to do it all over again I would have stayed in west Yellowstone/right outside the park in a more comfortable hotel for far less $.

The hotel and views are beautiful! The food is good and reasonably priced. I loved the viewing deck and close access to Old Faithful. The staff were super friendly. If you don’t stay at the hotel I highly recommend stopping to visit once it reopens!

Loved my stay here. Very relaxing. Live music nightly. Great people! BUT…you must make reservations for the on-site restaurant BEFORE you arrive. WAY before you arrive. No cooking in the rooms, (no microwaves) so we walked over to the nearby lodge and waited over 90 minutes for a table. After that first day we just made sandwiches and utilized our ice chest.

There is the tale of the headless bride... Carried on almost entirely by the staff I assume.
They can vary from a little over 100 to well over 300 I would stay in the old part of the hotel the newer rooms are nowhere near as nice you would have to make reservations many months in advance one-trick is when you are in Yellowstone to continually check for cancellations it took me about five hours but one finally popped up in the old hotel do this in person, by the way yes it was worth it this is a once-in-a-lifetime stay also don't be afraid to get a room with a shared bathroom bathrooms are very clean and never crowded
Or you can fly into Jackson Hole Airport, rent a car and drive up to Yellowstone through Grand Teton National Park. It's a nice and very scenic drive.
Depends on season I think.....rates go higher in the summer. A little less in early spring and late fall.
Service animals only
You can ask for one with the bell staff or front desk. It is doable
