Beautiful & loved park and decent place

Lovely park with amphitheater for concerts, soccer fields, pavilions for picnics, nice trails, and connection with the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. We visited in Winter so things were not open, but there is a snack bar and drinking area too.

This park has a lot to offer with a small beach, playground area, a trail that loops around the lake, a volleyball court, and an outdoor performance space. The only downsides were I noticed a fair amount of litter and part of the trail is near a lumberyard.

Always a nice lake beach for swimming and kids play. There is a small fee, but compared to the North Shore beach parking it's nothing .Has 3 or 4 huts for shade, a snack stand camp for kids in the summer and it's surrounded by a brand new bike path for walking etc...

I think so. .not sure. You can bring kids so why shouldn't you be able to bring dogs?,, kids are far more troubling than dogs
Not sure about the parking situation, but it's pretty wide open so you should be able to see a lot of the sky. That being said, there's a lot of light pollution in the area so you may not see much. If you want a great show you're gonna have to travel.

Nara Park is closed until late spring. I'm not sure if the volleyball nets are still up. Now it is free to go to Nara.
