It was fun but there wasn't many things to do

So if you have been to other Lego lands don’t assume this is on the same level. Not worth the money! Better things to do in Chicago area.

Waist of money, NEVER pay for more than general admission. The upgrades are fake and give experience NO value. No one explains anything, only workers were at entrance and food shop. Doesn’t tell you when next movie time is and no one is around to ask. Makes you pay for adults which is stupid because nothing for adults to do.

We made a visit for a 5th birthday. We paid $35 per person. Only my 9 year old could do the virtual reality since it is only for 6 years old and up. The blue lights in the mini figurine area made it pretty difficult to see and a lot of people were using phone flashlights to see better. They did not have any other activities such as the characters walking around still. The movie was really cute. None of the staff really stood out to be honest they all seemed a bit miserable and just going through the motions. We do not feel the need to go back for any future visits.

You need to have a child in your group to go, but they do host regular adult-only events.
Yes you can... this is a place for any age...its lots of fun.
Yes, they do
Walk ins at any time but you can't just buy an adult ticket. You have to have a child under 18yrs old to accompany you. Adults are not allowed alone.
Prices have gone up...buy online for the cheapest price. I heard look at Costco too
No. Its only for that day you purchased tickets
Yes absolutely! There were some parents who were at the restaurant on their computers or tablets while the kids were playing with the legos.
You have to make reservations
Entrance to the door is $ 20.50 per person. on the website you can save up to 25%.
Oh wow. Way too pricey. Thanks anyway.
You would have to take a bunch of transfers, but one way or another you should be able to get close to it.
As far as I'm aware no, this is because of the covid reserved time slot tickets required to get in
Yes, with the Lego vaccine! It makes them Lego bricks. Then I stack em up and climb up the Lego brick bridge
Hi there! No ticket is necessary in order to visit our LEGO® Store.
Today was very busy even at 1130. Weekends earlier the better. Not the summer durning the week is not usually as busy.
Hello there! As long as there is one child under the age of 17 in your group - you are all set to enter the Center!
Yup definitely still have to wear a mask. Was just there in the beginning of the month.
They are open, but you will need to buy timed tickets in advance to ensure you can gain entry
Im a assuming u mean fee? And yes 25 dollars for adult less for 3 to 12 and babies are free.
It's free for children 2 and under as long as someone is buying a full priced ticket.
It's a bit small for 13-14 year olds, the most exciting part about it is the play area, which honestly caters more to 5-8 year old
Depends. Are you taking kids who love legos? If so...it will be ok. If not, avoid!!!!!! It will be busy, overpriced and seems ... outdated. But the children will enjoy. So hang on!!!
The entrance fee at the door is 24.99. If you search on the internet you can get discounts. Bucalos in legoland chicago and you get in 17.99 each. They also have good deals in Groupon.
Not sure about foster families but they have multiple discounts here https://www.retailmenot.com/view/legolanddiscoverycenter.com
Check their web-site for the most up-to-date info. Note that (as of June 2019) both Chicago 'City Passes' include Legoland: at a discount. City Pass example: "Chicago GO Explore" has you pick up-to-three (or up-to-five) of a large number of attractions in and around Chicago.
Use Groupon, it's usually 50% off and just show them your phone
Check groupon or call for group rates.
Check the website to make sure nothing is shut down for maintenance.
That depends on the level of ticket you buy for him. Some cost more but include more. I'd go to the legoland website, select shaumburg for the location and then make sure to look at the different levels of tickets to see what best fits your budget and wants. Dont forget to look for coupon codes! Be warned though, if you get the BOGO deal, it doesn't include anything (like collectables).
$28 per person if you walk in the door. Order online or get a Groupon to save money.
No, but there is a Starbucks. You can get a kids thing for $6 that has a sandwich, drink and a small bag of chips.
There are at least 10 activities and if your kids like Legos it will be good. If they don't there are some general activities that might interest them. It can be expensive, use Groupon
3 years and older it is around 25 bucks
I did mine online was like 32 per person she got activity pack which wasn't used much except for stamps which you can't see well. I would opt without it.
It depends on the type of ticket you get. The typical price is about 24.99. Kids under 2 are free I believe.
I don't know I bought online that was pretty fast
No, adults must be accompanied by a child. They offer adult only nights that would be listed on their website.
At least one adult and one child on non adult only events but no maximum on either side
There are time slots when u buy online. You can walk in as well. The time slots gurneetee you right in. I've stayed for 4 plus hrs be4
We spent 4 hours there with a 7 year old. He made friends with other children and they went on the rides several times and watched the 4D the movie. They had a lot of fun. We enjoyed watching them have fun.
There is a play area and there is a theater to watch shorts and lots of building areas as well as things built with Legos.
parties of 6 get reduced rate w/veteran
Nice place to let kid vent and learn
They are open 9am - 7pm.
they are a corporate chain. You can go to the store without buying a ticket and they have adult nights
Yes check website. But will tell you worth the money. It really is fun for all ages. My grandchildren loved it. And I was impressed with it all. Including the staff.
There are 2 rides and the 4d theater. One is like a carousel in the air. More for young kids. The other is a ride Where you go around a series of rooms and shoot things with a laser.
what is the price of the entrance to legoladn
Yes, they can scan the barcode from your phone.
Admission at the door is $20.50 per person this is for both adults and kids.
You can do either. There maybe discounts available online.
You'll have to contact them. The website may also have info.
It was about $20, you should be about to find it online.
Adults pay as well. 🙄
You have the answer.
Plenty of parking right outside legoland, no worries other then how to get your kids to leave lol
Not sure because they do have some hot dogs and other unhealthy stuff inside of the Legoland facility to eat but the staff and managers are very accommodating so as long as you speak to them before you leave they may be open to it
No, I would suggest asking
There are so many activities, from 3-D movies to building cars with Legos, a jungle play area and a mini-ride.
Closes at 7PM, but the latest you can enter is 5PM. It will take 2 to 3 hours to do everything
depending on when you go it can be $15 per person or $30 depending on the time of entry.
They had the full lego kits for sale but not much for displays.
Lots of free parking it's a shopping mall
No, it doesn't matter, this has happened to me before. I called to make sure as well and they're pretty understanding when it comes to this sort of thing.
No but they allow bag packs they don't check them.
We picked three there is like 5 or 6 to choose from...there is a little lego store. You may end up getting something from there instead. The toy is a person..i dont even remember the others because its lost already lol. Dont go on the weekend!
I never paid any other fees i orderd on line.so no wait for me
Im sure you can find a way to bring food. They shouldn't mind, modt of their revenue comes from tickets anyway.
It really doesn't matter- there's usually even someone greeting visitors before the registers. Just ask them. But again i dont think it matters in the case of a free admission pass.
They do, but i bet you could find one less than an hour away in indiana for way cheaper!
No. Adults need a child to go. What grown creepy adult wants to go alone?
The store costs nothing to enter. If you go on the tour, there is an admission fee.
Yes,they are open all year long note that It is in indoors .But I'm not sure if they are open on holidays.
You should go on the lego discovery app or web site to get the prizes
Yes they close on 7:00
There are 2 rides. Not 1. There is a duplo area upstairs that is perfect for toddlers and there is also a toddler Tuesday every Tuesday before noon. Admission is cheaper and is only $9 per person. A 2 year old will have loads of fun
