Too many details to get into of how bad of an experience I've had with Budget/Avis, but it's been the worst customer service experience of my life. They rented out a 12 passenger vehicle right out from under me the day before pick-up, despite the fact I'd booked and paid for it 6 months in advance. While still having those funds tied up, they charged full rates for a 7 passenger vehicle, then charged the full amount ($1217.69) for a security deposit. Upon return today, my receipt says another charge for $860.40 Toure was friendly, and tried to be helpful, but was unable to do anything to assist.

Due to an issue with a cancelled flight we had to scramble to rent a car and drive to our son's graduation 600 miles away. We are so glad we stumbled across Budget in Fairfield in our fast online search. Kwame was so understanding, very friendly, got us through the paperwork quickly and we were on our way in a nice vehicle for a very reasonable price. We will definitely use this location for any future rental car needs!

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a car rental. First, the car that I was "upgraded" too was not available the day I went to pick it up so right off the bat, I was packing people and luggage into a smaller vehicle for our vacation. Next up, I got to drop the car off and there was very little sand and dog hair in this van - very little. I had vacuumed it myself and used a lint roller to clean it before dropping it off. I am positive it wasn't perfect but they charged me $160! So wrong vehicle, a little mess, and huge extra charge. There are professional car detailers that would not have cost that much. This place is terrible - DO NOT go to the Fairfield location to rent a vehicle.
