Solid BBQ joint. Everything on menu is good. My go to is Double brisket (Half marble / Half lean), sausage link, potato salad and green beans. Jalapeno on the side with bread. Staff is always quick and friendly and the place smells amazing. Nice relaxing and easy going atmosphere.

"Excellent" does not do it justice, it was better than that! . . . Similar format as Rudy's but BBQ'd meat had a much better taste. The only negative is they were out of the smoked pork loin, had to settle for pulled pork which was very good.

I've been looking a long time for a place that's inside San Antonio it's good barbecue and not made for tourists. This is my first place I found it checks all the boxes. Human size portions. Street level people prices. And a staff that is not afraid to make sure you're doing okay. It's like all the people behind the counter give you that look like they'll have your memaw out the door if you need to or change tire. It's not always about customer service or mandatory phrases. Sometimes you just need a person that looks like they really work to look up at you and offer you a menu to go.

Not certain but you have to figure at least half pound of meat per person being conservative; on the upper end 1 lb per person. I would also either they are hired to serve or you have a serve team for better portion control.
The sausage is a mix of beed and pork!!
Definetly one of the best places to get outstanding bar b que. Staff cool and hard working. Owner rolls up his sleeves when needed.One would be pleased if that place was the only place to get bbq because theirs is all that is needed!
