This place would have been decent except for 2 issues that occurred during my 3-day/2-night stay for the 4rth of July holiday. The walkways on the ground floor level are equivalent to an ice skating rink. Many people were slipping and a lot were completely falling off their feet. I fell on the way to get breakfast. My friend also fell. A worker slipped, a youngish father fell, a young girl said she fell and hurt her elbow. So, the hotel has a problem to deal with there. The other problem I had was the smoke alarm went off about 5 or 6 times randomly between about the hours of 11pm and 1am, waking me up each time just before getting deeply asleep. It needed a new battery, so customer service put us in another room. The next day when speaking with the hotel staff regarding our uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, the clerk said that the smoke alarm went off because we were "triggering it".

Booked this hotel at a cheap price compared to everything else but was still expecting something better than The Redroof Inn. Upon check in the front desk night time clerk was pleasant. The lobby looked remodeled but it smelled like a smoke shop. Upon getting to the room the beds had stains on them. I had gotten two rooms and all four beds had stains. I went back to the front desk and while waiting to be attended a local transformer blew and the power went out. That was all the signs I needed to get a refund and look for something else. The front desk clerk advised me several times he would handle it, but after a week the refund was refused. I called the hotel and spoke to the most unprofessional "manager" ever, "Justin". He told me he was not going to issue me a refund because he could not control the light being out. I called corporate and when they spoke to him he told them we stayed all two night there even though we booked another hotel. I WILL NEVER stay at this location again. Corporate was extremely helpful and were able to resolve the refund.

Save your money and time!!! This place is nasty and the staff are very rude!!! The bartender is very rude and disrespectful!!! She doesn’t even know how to make simple drinks like bahama mamas!!! She also gets a attitude with you when you ask for service!!! Then there are strange dudes just walking around the hotel hanging out!!! The rooms are terrible, and the beds aren’t comfortable nor made up!!! And housekeeping is no where to be found!!! I would just save my money and go to the best western down the road it is way better then this place!!! I love the beach and I will be back, but I won’t be staying here!!

when you check in it’s a little sketchy i won’t lie the bathroom was a little outdated, a lot of grown men standing outside.. so i tried to look on the bright side.. they did have breakfast but not a vast selection, the cool air works , hot water was great & really in close proximity to many beaches but after the first night i immediately noticed i had bumps that itched i thought maybe it was some type of bug bite but after the second night my body was literally covered in bed bug bites .. if you don’t mind itching your whole trip go for it! But for $200 i was expecting a bit more other than location being the greatest benefit i ended up having to check out and stay somewhere else for the remainder of my trip but 3/5 because maybe this is something their unaware of but it’s definitely unacceptable.
