As a visitor, the Sunsphere is a neat historical look at the World's Fair. The views are great and there is plenty to read but not much react with. It is inexpensive at only $5 per person. It was neat to find out you can rent one of the higher floors for events...cool option for locals.

Restaurants stops serving at 9. The bar closes at 2 am
Don't know who you would call because all that runs in that sphere is an elevator. There's usually no one around.
No, going in the Sunsphere and the park is free. And it's really neat. Enjoy!

I don't think it spins. You can walk in small circles though, so it's possible you could get dizzy and feel a spinning sensation.
Primo Italian Restaurant, located in the Sunsphere, has stopped daily operations. A spokesperson from the company said after six years they decided to close the restaurant, which was formerly Icon Ultra Lounge, because "it is simply not cost effective." The restaurant's last day was Saturday, March 18. The restaurant's owners said they will still hold private parties, such as corporate meetings luncheons and wedding receptions, but daily operations will stop. By stopping daily operations, the owners hope they will be able to offer more flexibility to guests hosting events. Owners said they are the only venue in the Sunsphere that has a fully operational kitchen and 'on premises' liquor license and that they look forward to the next chapter in their operations.

The nearby park has free parking. It's past the museum towards the fountains.
It's free to visit the public observation deck. Free to go up the elevator to the observation deck and free parking at nearby world's fair park.
It's free to go to the observation deck! The only part that may charge would be if you went to the levels that are privately owned.
No. Parking can be found at the other end of Worlds Fair Park or across the street from the Knoxville Art Museum.
