Is there a law worse than Murphy's? Everything's guaranteed to go wrong here! Most rude, slow and useless service ever. Regular carrier retired 10+ years ago and service has been downhill since. Packages stolen by inconsistent carriers, mail delivered while on-hold, hours wasted waiting in line, supervisors don't return calls or address complaints... Not one soul gives af at this station. TERRIBLE! PERIOD!

The Post Office on Fenkell IN DETROIT is HORRID and deserves a Negative Star rating. I just left this post office, when I walked in the lights were off behind the counter as I’m standing there calling for assistant because I hear the employees in the back talking. No one came out, as I was standing there other customers began walking in to see the same mess, No employees, and this is during business hours early 1 o clock to be exact. There was no note On the door to indicate ANYTHING. Me and an elderly woman waited, another customer can in looking to buy stamps, the elderly lady with her heart of gold gave this gentleman 4 stamps. This post office is a sad disgrace to the community. The only good thing is the one guy who normally works the window (all by himself) he does a good job. He probably needed a day off and the post office was lost.

This postoffice is amazing. The clerks work so hard with the little staff there is.

I believe they do passports
I would suggest contact a supervisor then maybe an area/district manager if they have such people. Finally if all else fails contact the state of Michigan attorney general office for guidance on how to handle the situation.
I signed up via the USPS website, I know receive an email with pictures of the mail that is set to be delivered on a particular day.
You should be able to apply for one online. If not you can at the post office. You may want to consider the post office on Beech Daly near Plymouth. That one is 24hrs.
