After consulting with other surgeons, I chose Dr. Pingree. He took the time to listen and recommended the best option for my surgery. He did an L4/L5 Spinal Decompression, outpatient. 3 weeks post-surgery I feel so much better. When I called to ask questions Dr. Pingree and his PA both spoke with me and at my post surgical follow up both met with me as well.

I will be back to finish this review on Dr Pingree. I found him to be absolutely unethical, unhelpful, and unprofessional during my visit. I’ve had to wait a couple years at the advice of my attorney, until my case was over before I put this out there. My insurance company will finally be notified about paying for services that Dr Pingree didn’t perform. Yes, I am angry but truth always comes out.

I have been a patient on Dr. Pingree since 2016. He was a very nice person when I first met with him, however as the years went by and my continued back issues arose he was non existent. I had my first fusion in 2016, then it failed and I had a second fusion in 2019. Since my fusions, I still have severe back pain, balance problems, and I’m unable to work. I’ve had numerous phone calls and a few appointments with Caleb Jackson PA but never with Dr. Pingree ( since he feels that I am no longer a good surgical candidate )! These are his words. I have been dismissed by everyone in his office and told to go get a second opinion. According to my MRI’s since my first fusion, both the upper levels and the lower section of my spine are continuing to deteriorate at what I feel is an alarming rate. I have followed Dr. Pingree’s instructions regarding possibly reducing the amount of pain I’m experiencing to no avail! I am now at a lose as to what I can do next and I have no one to help me with all of the issues I have and all the pain I’m experiencing! * I would never have had my first fusion if I had known the treatment in which I have received from both the doctor and his staff!* I am unable to do the most basic daily functions and my quality of life is non-existent! Im sickened by the lack of compassion simply because he feels that I’m no longer a good surgical candidate! I’m alone now with no one to help me! I am only 54 years old now, and living on Social Security Disability! I have much more to say however I feel I’ve made my point as to how I feel about Dr. Pingree, his staff and Caleb Jackson! Good luck to everyone who is experiencing degenerative back issues or any back issues at all for it has literally ruined my quality of life!

I can't speak to him as a surgeon since I have not yet decided whether to get surgery or not. But Dr. Pingree as a consulting doctor was unbelievably helpful. I've had back pain for more than a decade and recently got an MRI. After not having improvements from a chiropractor, I saw Dr. Pingree to ask about injection shots and surgery. He sat down and answered every question I had for about 25 minutes. He helped me find the best and most affordable steroid injection clinic. He talked plainly and honestly with me. It was so relieving to have someone answer my questions that are so hard to find online. Definitely worth a visit at least.
