A very good experience, our tour guide lady was very knowledgeable and straight to the subject, we learned a lot about the Amish culture

You're welcome!
Thank you for your inquiry. A House Tour is included in the admission price for entrance to the village grounds of $10 per adult and $6.50 per child 5-12
The official language of the Amish is Bengali. Usually you must be born there to live there. Sometimes they have jobs to fill though. Their morning ritual is eating breakfast while Amar Sonar Bangla is sung to them. That position is open. If you are interested, please just show up as no phones are allowed.
Thanku for asking question, yes u can but I don't think so u can booked buggy. As my personal experience, usually Amish people not easily mingled us. But due to ur good luck as I interacted with one lady who drove buggy herself along with her kids and I asked same like u,,she said come to my home if my husband allowed, upon his consent u can ride but along him not as a solo rider. Unfortunately on that time sunset ahead n her home was 4mile away where I met. But you can try and request don't try to offer money.
yes it's precious
There are campgrounds in the area, but we do not have campsites at The Amish Village.
I don't know. I didn't use train but I arrived there with car.
Better to bring with you, or you can inside the gift store chocolat, chips...
We paid $29 Premium tour includes Amish house tour 30 mins + 60 mins Bus tour around village. Each bus has only 15 people. So you might have to wait for couple of hours for your turn.
choose starting of cold or end of it.. like October or march... that time is great.. usually its cold inside but outside its hot..
You can order them online or purchase them in the shop
The house tour is about 45 minutes but they have a bus tour that is about an hour and a half
We didn't go to Hershey "park", we only went to the museum. It was VERY interesting but, we were sad that all the extra activities in the building were so expensive and there were no factory tours. The gift shop was also very disappointing ... Really figured they would have some candy packages... gift sets... but just had single items a few shirts and it was kind of bare.. We can basically say we went.. It really was an interesting exhibit. Adults will enjoy the most.
We just walked in and bought tickets.
They have different packages or offers in the website. I didn't remember how I paid for my family but was the premium. This company is Great.
I didn't see one on our tour, but we also just went for the day.
Do not go. There is nothing that spreads from there. It's a small scenario that pays about $ 50 to see a lie. The people are not friendly and the place is not beautiful. There are much nicer places to visit ... Ahhhhh .... and there is a little shop. Where everything is absurdly expensive.
Agree. Large free parking lot. Nothing else is around.
Yes, it is just on the right when you amish village tabela
I have not seen any pets down there and not remembering any notice down there.
Only English, please
They start at $16, but I think the $28 Ultimate Package is the best value because it is all inclusive. The 90 minute bus tour is very informative.
The Amish Village will open at 9AM with the last tour at 6PM
I looked it up and it said the hours might be different but it is open
Fourth of July: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Very interesting tour on a different way of life and culture the food is excellent at their restaurant.
You can visit the walk through makeshift Amish Town/Village, but the Amish House tour is at a cost and a guided tour.. There's an Amish Family up there that operates their home as a Bed & Breakfast where your living with them. We're going to stay with them one day. That should be interesting..
15 Minutes 9.2 miles so yes you could
Down On The Farm Creamery 509 May Post Office Road Strasburg, PA 17579 United States Don't forget to eat their ice cream.
Only by born. They don't accept people from outside.
The tour is ten dollars for adults and the last tours are from the siez and if you can go to the restaurant right from the house.
So, you can arrive there using a train to Lancaster. When you'll arrive in Lancaster, you can rent a car and spend some days in this region. If you have time, you can visit Hershey park and the chocolate factory that have there. There is a good outlet in Lancaster and the prices there is the best, because the Pennsylvania state have lower tax of the US.
Yes there is a small charge but its totally worth it. I think adults pay 8 or 10
Better u called them directly to know about their hour on estar sunday.
There's another tour down the road. That is a 3 hour tour you get to go to the Amish work place and to their home. I recommend it.
It's best to go there if it's not raining or snowing. Since it's open place, it might actually be colder depending on the forecast.
