Have been getting Turkeys from them for a life time if not me someone in my family has gotten the bird for the feast and can never go wrong with the best Turkey there is Esbenshades none better

Sorry I waited 45 years to try my first Esbenshade turkey. Awesome, juicy, goodness. My family agreed it was the best turkey we've ever tasted. Made the hour trip up to Ronks and was not disappointed.

I previously wrote them a five-star review, but after visiting them today to pick up my turkey for Thanksgiving, I was completely disgusted by my experience. There was about 10 people, children, teens and adults in a small enclosed pick-up room, and not one single person there was wearing a mask. I picked up my turkey, but didn't say anything to the people in the room, even though I surely wanted to. After returning to my vehicle, I decided I would call and voice my discomfort with my experience. People are dying, for god sakes! This is not a game. This is a serious situation, and must be handled as such. I spoke to a lady on the phone, and she told me that they do not agree with the Governors recommendations, and refuse to wear masks or follow the required guidelines. She then advised me of a market nearby, who also doesn't where masks, as they as well, do not agree with the Governors Covid-19 requirements. I was appalled at her statements to me. I told her people are dying all around the world, and this is a worldwide state of emergency. A pandemic! I am sick to my stomach from my experience i endured here today. I'm speechless, that an almost 200 year old successful company would betray their loyal, valued customers with such selfish behavior. On behalf of every American citizen, I simply state, your company should be utterly ashamed of yourselves, for your disrespectful and selfish behavior. Your company should be ashamed of yourselves for this despicable, atrocious conduct. This is most deserving of a zero star review. God Bless the world. May we all stay healthy throughout this difficult time. Happy Thanksgiving....

I am always excited to get my turkey from a farm to support local commerce and this is not a comment about the turkey I got from Esbenshade (it gets gobbled up tomorrow). I went to pick up my turkey yesterday and 2 out of 5 staff in the indoor pickup room (with a third coming in and out) were not wearing masks. Every single person picking up a turkey were donning masks but they couldn't? I wanted to turn around and deny buying the turkey but I had already ordered and felt responsible to that commitment. But I won't be coming back. Why would I support a business that disregards the health of its patrons?
