There were no events happening when we went, we just wanted to have a look around and it was wonderful. Plenty of animals to see and the staff were so friendly and informative. Perfect to get out into nature for an hour or two.

Wow what a great experience I think everybody should go to this place and enjoy the walks and the experience of what a farm was like back in the day when we didn't have as much electricity. The staff is so knowledgeable my grandson had the best time and I look forward to bringing my children back. It's free you can't beat it!

It doesn't cost to visit so there's no parking or entrance fee but if you buy something such as a burger, ice cream, etc there is a cost and they usually do accept credit cards.
It's quite nice that they have a kitchen with home cooked food, so you don't even really need to worry about where you're going to get lunch.
