Awesome little off the beaten path beach with a "locals" vibe. Amenities include picnic pavilions with grills and porta potties. Best to go at high tide. Beautiful sunsets. This is real Florida.

Nice improved boat ramp and docks. The sunsets are also beautiful! Good fishing as well in Yankeetown.

Nice little beach. It's cold right now in Florida. So it wasn't very busy at all. Could see out into the Gulf. Would recommend for a picnic or just to get away. Boat ramp accessible

I've seen people camping on the 2 islands just west of the bird creek boat ramp.
Yes it is good for fishing or swimming. Depending on their ages there are a lot of spots within walking distance that are good fishing also.
Boat ramp is always open. Beach gate is closed at night.

This is a very small parking lot. 2 port a Johns and a picnic pavilion. It's still beautiful and peaceful!
