spoke to a lovely women named marnie, she was very polite and educationable about the kittens and cats that were there! i got to adopt this cute gun ball named potato! many cats to choose from i drove and hour away from home worth every minute i spent in there! will be adopting more in the future!! <3

If i were to find a bunny or rabbit in need of a shelter would he be able to get cared for here or would i have to look for a different shelter

This shelter is for cats only. Lee County animal services would probably be your best option.

Hi. Do you trap cats that need veterinary care? I have been feeding one of 3 ferals for about a year and one appears to have grown sickly. I am willing to pay for his/her care, I just need someone to trap her and bring her to you.

Helping Paws maybe not be able to accept an abandoned cat into the shelter, but if not, due to crowding, or lack of FELV testing. However they will help get the cat to Lee County Domestic Animal Services in Ft Myers where they have a much larger facility and onsite veterinary care.

I love cats, but don't want to commit to getting one yet. Is there a way to pet the cats, and just see them? I love cats but can't commit to getting one yet.

Yes you can visit or help them care as a volunteer.

I have a cat that was abandoned roaming my back yard..can you take it..I hate to see it left out in this weather.

Unfortunately shelter only takes pets that are surrendered. Stray could bring in an illness that could spread. Lee County animal services will accept a stray. Best of luck. I know how you feel.😺😸

I have a friend looking for a declawed cat He is a older gentleman who is really nice and he has a male kitty that's already declawed so that's why he's looking for another declawed cat. He said he didn't care of age or sex or color

You would need to csll to see if she has room and mom may need papers from vet to make sure she is healthy & not sure if kitties need papers too. Dhe xan answer all this and itnid definitely a no kill.Sorry for typing errors. Definitely a no kill.
