Not enough sand space for many people to stay on land, have a picnic, leisure around, etc. There were a bit less than 10 boats and that was already too many. I did find a small stretch of sand (pictured) that was empty but it still is small enough that with a couple more boats it’d fill up quickly. I gather early morning or evenings are best to be on this little island. Some parts of the shore were pretty black (like a black ooze) - I imagine from all the boats always around - yet people were still bathing in it.

Great little place to explore, especially when winds are too rough to go up to sannibel, Captiva or Cayo. We went 3x and found some amazing shells. Not much of a beach, but plenty of room to set up chairs and watch boats go by. Had a small pod of VERY active dolphins come within about 10 yards of us yesterday...was really cool !!

Great spot to relax and enjoy nature! Not over crowded at all!

A incredibly peaceful place to stop & fish, get some sun & cool if in the water. Just pay attention to the channel markers or have sea tow on speed dial.
