We went to the Old Jail, took the Scenic Train Ride and went to the Lansford Coal Mine where you actually go inside an old mine and learn about what the mi era go through on a daily basis. Quite interesting. My 13 and 9 year old grandsons enjoyed it. We also went to Hickory Run State Park and went to Boulder Field and Hawk Falls.

Can't say for sure about the Meter, but they do run special "ghost tours" in the evening. Not sure if they run them all year, but they are doing them now.

About an hour. You can also walk around and take pictures after the tour is over. I highly recommend this tour.

The old jail in Jim Thorpe is Museum We need to learn from our mistakes in history. If those people or anyone obey the law they wouldn't be there in the first place. I am sorry if my pictures of the old jail upset you. You are definitely untitled to your opinion.

Yea, but you cant actually go in the cell with it, and your not allowed to take pictures of it.
