We enjoyed our 2-night stay at The Harry Packer Mansion Inn last weekend. The entire staff were very warm and friendly. Our carriage house room was nicely decorated and clean. The mansion is lovely with beautiful views from the veranda. We appreciated being served a tasty breakfast to start our day! While the town itself was very busy, the mansion was a great place to step back in time and relax. We recommend the mansion to those wishing to stay in the area! Thanks for a wonderful time!

My wife and I stayed in the carriage house the weekend of 10/1/22. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, but we waited more than a half hour to eat breakfast because they ran out of eggs, TWICE, before we had our first serving. We were in the dining room before breakfast was served, but waited for the other guests before getting in line never imagining that the food would run out before everyone had one helping. The staff cooked more eggs, but more guests arrived and again they were gone before we had a chance to get up. Then we waited for the staff to go out and buy more eggs! In addition, the eggs, potatoes, and ham were overcooked and there were no other options other than store-bought blueberry mini muffins that you might find at a Super 8. They also ran coffee and clean mugs. Also, there were several light bulbs in the hallway outside our room that were burned out that made it impossible to even unlock the the door after dark. We made due by replacing them with some bulbs from the lights in our room. I’ve never left a bad public review, but my wife sent them an email three days ago and they didn’t reply. There’s just no excuse for running out of food when the occupancy is 100% every weekend. The quality and variety was also worse than expected for the price. Our friend is a vegetarian so her only option were the potatoes and mini-muffins.

Stopped in to have a few drinks. Was disappointed how expensive they were and what little alcohol was in them! I ordered a Titos lemonade and it was basically just lemonade, not to mention how tiny the glass was... $9 for a tiny drink, with no alcohol, was such a waste. It's a cool building but save your money the drinks aren't worth it!

More of a couples getaway than a pet friendly motel
