We went for my bachelor party at the end of October, April is the BEST Guide Ever!!!!!! Highly recommend if you can get her as your guide she is a Master at her Craft. Made the experience allot of fun, n we were the only ones on the river since it was the end of the season. It was alil cold but with the wet suits it wasn't bad at all !!! An Amazing Business with an Amazing Staff, Thank you very much such a Memorial Experience that will never be forgotten.

The staff and guides at Pocono Whitewater Rafting were on their A game. They were professional and friendly. I went with a group not too long ago and we had a blast. It was a bit cold when we went but paddling and wearing a full wetsuit (mandatory during fall) kept us warm. It was also an eye opening experience because the guides did instruct us that this was a Class 2 & 3 river and what to do should anyone fall off the raft. A group of Asian girls unfortunately had to experience that with 4 of them falling over in a rough part of the river. However, the group and guides all worked together and got each and every one of the girls out and onto a raft. Needless to say everyone got back safe, though I wouldn't recommend if you entire group are beginners. If some have experience, then you're good. I would definitely return to experience it during the summer.

Awesome place as always for several activities, have done rafting and the big day out. Talking about only rafting experience, once visitors reach at the checkin and some briefing. A bus ride of 15-20mins to the point from where we have to walk 10mins till the rafts stationed. This is for the dam release, not for family. Close to 8miles rafting which takes 4hrs-5hrs. Lots a drifts, stones and amazing times. This is for Big Day Out experience, a bus ride of 30mins will take to bike station and from there biking starts to finish 22-23miles in 3hrs. Remember the mud from back, don't carry Los of stuff in cycling, vegetarian can carry their food as the company don't provide proper veg sub in lunch. Then a small trek of 1.5miles, after that a bus ride to start the rafting. Rafting is of 4miles. And finally a dinner with a free beer with campfire. I wish the trekking could have been longer and the rafting too. Also vegetarian lunch can be improved. 2 star less for the food.

Hi, i just want to know which the best and safe rating, is it the easywater or the mid one? I will be coming with group of 15 adults and 8 kids? This is our first time so I just wondering which good for us and also do we need to bring snacks and wa

The normal family trips are quite tame. Level 1 and 2 rapids, only a few spots you really have to worry about navigating, 3 spots what are calm and deep enough that you are able to get out and swim in the river. They do have hot dogs, PB&J, chips, apples, and potato salad for lunch halfway through the trip, but you could bring a lunch if you wish. If it's a hot day, I'd recommend bringing some water on the rafts. Most importantly, bring some squirt guns.

Can you take a dog on a raft with you

Robert Donut | Oct 30, 2020
Pocono Whitewater Rafting | Oct 30, 2020

Hi Robert, Great question. You are not permitted to bring a dog with you on the raft, sorry. With that said, sometimes we do offer "pet days" throughout the year when animals are permitted but there are not any on the schedule for the remainder of this season.

If you do the dam release it will be fun. You have to walk down some rocks in the water and its a lot colder than 70....it feels freezing when you do the upper gorge for dam release, but your feet warm up after a little bit in the boat.
