In reference to Dr.James R. Polowczyk. I had major surgery on my broken leg by him over the course of one year he supposedly was over seeing my progress. He never inquired how therapy was going, he never made any adjustments to any type of therapy or medication or anything. I finally cut loose and was doing my own therapy etc. and so on and was feeling a little bit better with walking which I could not do it at all in the beginning but with my own work I was advancing to where I can walk up to 2 miles a day. I made an appointment with him and talked about my ankle and he immediately suggested a needle which he stuck into my ankle in excruciating pain and from that point on I could not walk at all, I was in excruciating pain. Obviously according to several doctors that I visited after him he hit a nerve with the needle and therefore causing me to be 100% sedentary with no walking or movement at all. He told me he didn’t know what’s wrong he doesn’t know why that happened he is protecting himself and his malpractice insurance, ha ha ha. I went to several other doctors which all agreed , there was severe nerve damage from the needle hitting a nerve and it would take between 18 months and two years to correct or heal. Now I’ve been dealing with that for the last 3 to 4 months excruciating pain not being able to walk properly, of course james and his staff deny all wrongdoing. Do yourself a favor RUN away from this practice, I have never ever seen supposedly professional orthopedic doctors act so carelessly and non-caring.

Past miserable. My first appointment I waited over an hour to see the doctor. They then after I did get to see the doctor they left me waiting for my Rx and other follow up items for another hour. The next appointment was with another doctor, who, unlike the first, basically told me my broken back was healed and thus could not possibly be causing the chronic pain I was and am experiencing. I felt like he totally didnt hear me or respect what I was saying. So I called to request a second opinion and was referred to a doctor in what seemed like the same group but a different location. Took an afternoon off from work and drove 30 mins to go to my appointment with the third doctor and was told I couldn't see him as I needed patient transfer papers that had not been completed. No-one had said anything about this at the Brick office. Called back to Brick. Requested papers. Heard nothing. Called again and again. Left messages. Still no reply. Called again. Clicked a different extension. Was told paperwork was done. Called back to Doctor 3's office to try to schedule an appointment. After literally an hour on hold (I kid you not), they told me they didn't have the paper work and that dr. 3 would review it when it came to see if he would deign to see me or not. Its now been many more days and I have heard no more from them. To say this practice is unpleasant and disrespectful to deal with thoroughly understates the experience I have had with them. RUN don't walk to a different practice. Giving them one star (the minimum possible) is at least one too many.

Ocean Medical Center, Centrastate, Southern Ocean Medical Center, and some Jersey Shore, and a few surgery centers
I believe they do
It may depend on the doctor and/or surgery. My last surgery was at their surgery center. My mother's hip replacement was at ocean medical.

I never had a problem with sending them a fax ,it's possible you had a fax number going to their main office instead of the local one you were dealing with
You will need to call the office to see.
