If I could leave 0 stars I would. One of if not the worst experience I've ever had at a bar. So to start it off the place was way trashy and filthy to the touch. For having a 20$ cover you'd think they could hire a janitor. The place is also cash only so have fun using the atm. The atmosphere wasn't bad but the level of belligerent people was astonishing to say the least. I watched 2 fights take place right I front of me. To top off the experience as I was making my way out of the bar a girl fell to the ground in front of me. I helped her up and handed her off to her friends as she was clearly hammered and in doing so I accidentally backed into a security guard because the bar was so packed out. Before I could even turn around or even apologize I was checked from behind and asked if I wanted the heat. I didn't want to be arrested for pummeling a security guard in downtown folsom as it's a Hotspot for cops and I was already on my way out so I gladly left and will never return. I urge anyone reading this to stay away! The Folsom Hotel is a great option for bars and right across the street it's bigger and hands down the better choice so please let's power down this pub.

This place is a low quality establishment filled with liquor’d up “good ol boys”. Went to a burlesque show here, watched a creepy dude constantly hit on one of the performers. When the performer went to security to have the creep removed the security responded, “No, I will not kick him out… he just likes the ladies.” Powerhouse Pub is a business that condones toxic behavior, plain and simple. I will actively promote the shunning and boycott of this business until their doors close forever.

I love this place! I have lived in Folsom for over 30 years and this is a great spot to party with family and friends. Always a fun ambiance with live music and bands that bring it! Love the the old school hip hop on the patio especially on a warm summer night. You can wear shirt n shorts or a sundress and flats. I use to come for the blues on Sundays back in the 90s and this place is STILL on point in 2022.

One of the best places to go to dance to live music. The Covid Dragon is 5 feet tall & 4 feet wide. I Sculpted it myself and took about 200 hours. It is suspended 8 feet above the band at Powerhouse Pub. I also do epoxy river tables.

Depending on the night PowerHouse always has something for the older crowd with the cover bands and Sundays are Blues from open to about 6.

Rock On Live Band Karaoke is Tuesday nights 8:30-11:50pm. Band is great and dancing depends on choice of song but pretty much guaranteed 2nd set, or after about 9:35ish.
You have to 21 to enter but if you go to the fat rabbit you can be 18 to enter but still 21 to buy alcohol.
