Because of the imminent danger this dam is in and based on supply and demand economical laws, I would highly recommend you guys visit the dam as soon as you can. Prices rose a mere 3% to visit since last year, and I estimate it to be as high as 4% next year and 7.72% by the end of this decade.

Beautiful lake, however..... looks like we're in for another "drought" this year (2021)! Sad.

They used to give tours..you would start at the bottom by the river. Go inside all the way up to the tower..amazing!!

A spectacular Folsom Treasure we now only see from a distance... Folsom Dam is a fascinating landmark and it is a shame that terrorist threats have forced the government to close public access. I still vividly remember touring inside before the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. We visited deep in the dank moist bowels of the dam and looked out over the area from the tower up on the old dam road.
