Pros: Devices in the apartment are great, good to use in general. Doormen and handymen are really friendly and helpful. Cons: However, Manager team is really bad and the community has hundreds of reasons to deduct your money when you are in the process of move out. 1. I’ve lived in several buildings in LIC, this is my first time to be announced that I will be deducted from my deposit. 2. Also, the monthly leasing is not clear, so that you are easily to overpay when you are under discounts. 3. Neighborhood are weird, they will complain about everything all the time as if they have nothing else to do. Especially when I did not do anything at all ! BUT still, it’s not healthy for relationships to be over restrict to the others. Even when I was trying to be nice to the neighbors to offer them with some free stuffs when I moved out. I just left in front of my own door, but they might have misunderstood and report that to the manager. CONCLUSION: It’s obviously a horrible experience after all, be mindful if you do decide to live there. Consider seriously! Mind your wallet and security deposit!!!

I haven't lived at The Forge, but I did have a very positive experience when considering the building and going back and forth with the leasing office. Working with William was an absolute pleasure, in particular. While I ultimately opted to move to a different neighborhood, The Forge will definitely be at the top of my list should I ever return to LIC.

The location is fantastic for young professionals and the apartment's community and amenities are fantastic! Highly recommend living here
