Our stay in this hotel was not so great. When we walked in to check in there was a weird smell. Thinking maybe it’s just me but nope when we walked to our room there was an ugly smell like pee mixed with other smell old hotel dirty carpet I don’t know but it wasn’t a pleasant smell. Our beds were supposed to be queen beds and no there where full size beds instead. But maybe the reason is because the lady on front desk did help us on checking inn more early. And maybe those were the rooms they had left, which I’m thankful for doing that but still my whole complain is that smell. Front desk were really helpful and polite. But the rooms were not great at all we paid 210 for one night and they charged us an extra 27 dollars when we checked which she did explain but to me didn’t make sense because all the chargers should of been charged when booking. The hotel looks nice from the out side but the inside looks old and stinky. Maybe put some plug inns or deodorant to make the rooms smell a little bit nice.

Searched Google for places to stay in Santa Fe as we are passing through to AZ. This place had a cute homey feel so I decided to book here instead of one of the franchise hotels. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and decorated nicely. They give 2 free beers per day you stay. We don’t typically drink beer, but who doesn’t like free beer? Lol! It was such a pleasant experience after a long day driving 11 hours. I would highly recommend!

Two stars only because it has potential. Upon check in we were casually told the pool was closed and asked if it would be a problem. It was 10pm and we had just got to town after a drive. We didn’t have another option. The desk lady swore to me we only booked a regular room and I had to pull up our reservation to show her it was a balcony suite we had paid for. No apologies. Room was dirty, carpet looked not vacuumed. The bench in the room was covered with disgusting looking stains. A used cup was on the table and blood on a bedside table. We were woken up by maintenance men spray painting things RIGHT outside our door (anywhere else on the property could’ve worked). The front desk was again unapologetic and they continued after we complained. Door is paper thin, you hear everything and there are no blackout curtains, only blinds. Again, has potential, good location and cute decor, but terrible management.

The staff here is probably more friendly then most I have met in any hotel/lodge. However, in our room there was no fridge or microwave. There is a microwave in the lobby though. Before you get here just know they will charge you an extra 25$ for the use of amenities but that includes 2 free alcohol drinks and free water bottles. The parking lot is kinda off depending where your room is. We enjoyed our visit here though, and it was good for the price overall.

Santa Fe airport, but it's rather small. Closest international airport is Albuquerque, about 1.5 hours away

It's been there 30 plus years I think but it is very well maintained. I've always found everything in grand working order.
