My four year old twins had an absolutely perfect morning at Little Buckaroo ranch! They have been dreaming of riding a pony for the first time and it was so fun to make their wish come true while we were in the hill country visiting family. The property is beautiful, the animals are all obviously well cared for, and Miriam has clearly put a lot of thought into creating experiences that are ideal for the younger set. I really appreciated how she showed the kids how to be gentle, respectful and safe around the animals. We would love to return for another visit soon!

We had a really wonderful time at Miriam and Jimmy's ranch today for my son's 4th birthday. The kids and adults all learned so much and we got to experience a big ranch of things all over the land. We "fished", fed the goats, pet a huge bunny, took a pony ride, and pet a rooster. We then headed back over to a heavily shaded area where they cooked up hot dogs and smores for us. How cute is that?

My daughters (3 almost 4) and 18mo had a great time today during the farm tour, pony ride, and education. We recommend this place for young kids who are kind to animals and good listeners. We also appreciated the local recommendations and learning about the animals.

The kids had a great time. Ponies, bunnies, goats, oh my! The owners were very nice and you can use their bathroom in their home which is lovely. It's very organized and they also handle the food (hot dogs & potato chips). The swings under the trees were oddly the kids favorite thing :-) Perfect inclusive birthday party spot, just a bit of a hike from town, and a little hard to find off the highway, but really you couldn't have that land closer. Bring giant balloons to put at the road!
