time noted on ticket stated 730pm doors did not open till 745pm music did not start till 850pm man checking IDs ... on the street ... reeked of alcohol photos on the SAH website do not accurately portray the venue. the name does. it's a hall. found only one bathroom two stalls no urinal ~if there is another, staff certainly didn't know ~ nice crowd for the maria's tho i chock that up to the band and not the venue

Really impressed with this quaint venue. The hall is beautifully crafted and excellent for intimate shows - it reminded me more of a wedding reception hall. It feels cozy but not crowded. The bar is super accessible, reasonably priced, and they even offer soda in the can which is a life saver if you're not drinking. With general admission tickets, I wasn't sure whether to expect all standing room or seating, but thankfully it was a mix of both. Seats were filled up when we got there, but the staff was just setting up an additional couple rows and we were able to get seats after all. The view of the small stage is great from pretty much any angle. Bar and bathrooms are close by so don't have to miss much. Only complaint is the folding chairs weren't very comfortable after about 5 minutes of sitting, but I'm grateful they were provided regardless. Overall awesome experience - I'll be looking for upcoming events at this venue.

I LOVE this place, its flawless in their own way. Because this is a music venue as well as an event space the acoustics are amazing! I really enjoyed the open space, and nice floors. The light is in your control which made it great for any time of the day or night. Fantastic pricing for a large or small San Francisco Event and the people running the show were so great working with us at every turn to make sure we were happy! This is an amazing wedding and reception space not to pass up; ENJOY!
