I must say I’ve had a few attorneys in my life but Arianna Eddy is by far the best I’ve ran into. She communicated with me whenever I had a question (which was a lot🙂) And she explained exactly what was to happen. My whole life is changing because of these expungements! I feel so grateful to Iowa legal aide and Ms Eddy. I’m humbled and smiling again. I finally can stop explaining myself about things that happened 25 years ago! Thank you!

Good question get legal advice they honest
Legal aid generally can help with this. Call them.
Iowa Legal Aid is federally funded, and limited on where they are able to have offices. Due to funding being taken, Legal Aid has had to close two offices down since I've been aware of their services. If we are being realistic, the 7 locations of Legal Aid are located in cities of roughly at least 5 times the size of Osceola. I believe the office that sees over that city is in Council Bluffs. The purpose of this is to help as many people as possible. You can still call or do an online intake with Legal Aid, all attorneys they hire are state licensed and could practice in Oceola.
Absolutely not. Unless emergency than she should call the police to escort.
Iowa Legal Aid has income/asset guidelines. Call to see if you qualify. If you do, you will likely get help.
Definitely try to get a court appointed lawyer
Thank you I tried to file charges on the security guard and the response I got was that what I was doing insights trouble even though it is a constitutionally protected activity and that he was justified in breaking the law I just don't know where this world is going.
So, as a non attorney I'm not able to help with Legal Questions. In this case, as one of their volunteers I'd recommend getting your question answered by an attorney by calling in or asking their answering secretary for the number for simple legal questions.
That I don't know you would have to call legal aid or go on goggle and ask that and see if it will come up with a answer for you so sorry.
This I don't know you would need to call them or go to legal aid. I walked in and seen a sternly that same day you will have to fiil out papers first then they meet with you did not cost me any thing .
You need to call and make an appointment to get legal advice on a specific appointment. But they are super awesome and give great advice in a practical and compassionate way.
call them they will help
