If you want to have the worst service ever feel free to go with Mediacom. They will lie to you will over charge you on the bill and your service will keep cutting in and out. Trust me. I had it for 2 months and it was nothing but a headache. Never again.

I was moving dropped off the equipment, the service was good and quick. But the quality of their service to my home wasn't so great

Disorganized customer service. We had called several times to try to clear up a charge we had for something we were billed for but never received (equipment) finally we just gave in and agreed to pay. They would not let us pay over the phone and proceeded to assure us we’d get a paper bill in the mail. That bill never came and the amount was just sent to a debt collector! Beyond disappointed in the service received.

This company should be listed as a waste management service because all they do is deliver garbage.

The best way to answer that would be to call customer service. You can also check the app. There are a plethora of things that can cause service issues. I hope it works itself out but if it doesn't/hasn't definitely call.
8am to 6pm
I cut all the cable off of my Mediacom now I only have internet and the phone service that comes with that that I don't use it all but my bill stays pretty steady and I never have any interruptions in my service maybe it's just a different areas I don't know but I don't have a problem with MediaCom.
TENGA is forcing the same with Dish. They're buying up local stations across the U.S. and forcing providers to pay higher prices for local channels. There's much information about it on the Burlington Hawkeye, Des Moines Register, etc.
Usually the do an reduced first month
I don't know, but you can download a TV guide app & find it that way.
My service was down yesterday, and they said it was a problem with a single site that would have to be fixed with a tech visit. Also said that next available appointment is seven days away. No thank you.
Bring the old one, I think they'll trade it out

No and it used to not go against your credit because it was considered an entertainment expense but that changed. If it goes to collections and is a negative mark on your credit score dispute it.
I would press the Guide button on your remote and start looking in the 300 and up in the channel numbers. Also you would have to be paying for Showtime to be able to watch it.
Log into your account and there are current outages posted...walk through on how to find it once you are logged in. https://tinyurl.com/rao86bo
Call Mediacom.
Newsmax was just announced available on Comcast today. I expect Mediacom will make its own deal with Newsmax very shortly. That's all I was able to look up on the issue!
Go to mediacomtoday.com and log in to the site at the top right of the web page. Right next to that is Support and click there. It will ask you to sign again for security purposes. On the next page click on WIFI where It will show you two WIFI connections, maybe. Just click on those and there will be an option to change the password there.
Download the mobile app or call tech support. Both should be able to tell you if it's just you or an area wide issue.
Have you tried the Mediacom app?
Dial *72 + the phone number you want them forwarded to. Example: I want to forward my calls from land-line to my cell. You get on your land-line dial *72 plus your cell number and it should forward them.
We have Mediacom for 25 years. High speed internet and land line phones. Dish next to me century link across the street 5 or 6 to the corner are Mediacom.
That's wierd.
Well I would call Mediacom and let them know that there is a line laying on the ground and you are not a Mediacom customer and would like it removed they will send someone out and remove it if it's ours
I don't think so but it is worth a phone call. I just watch Prime on my smart tv then switch back over to cable.
You would have to locate the main receiver and order from their. My best advice would go ahead and call mediacom to save you the headache!
None that i know of. Call them, they have a very good run down on any service issues.
Weird...I have had Mediacom internet for over a decade and it is never down and it's always screaming fast
That depends on the dilenquncy amount, best to call the customer service number on the bill.
It is just crappy mediacom service
It's Mediacom it's hard to say when it will be fixed!
Its also depends on how many people are on your neighborhoods node so to speak. It may be having an issue on your but not others. I would check with your neighbors just in case and then present that to mediacom.
It is easy enough to install your own. Typically everything you need comes with one if you purchase your own. And it's just a matter of plugging things in. To rent one from Mediacom is only a few bucks a month and they take care of everything... It's also nice to be able to call customer support if you forget your wifi password. Technician scheduling does vary at times.. With that said they'll replace it if it's defective for free.. Customer service is complementary.. Definitely not so if you buy your own. Way your pros and cons. If you feel comfortable installing and troubleshooting on your own I'd recommend owning your own.. If not, the few bucks a month is piece of mind. Also, if you already have one of thier modems it's likely that it already has a built in router and they can activate it remotely by just calling tech support. Best of luck.
They will not answer the phone message says outage in my area.
They say there aren't any outages, but you might want to call and double check. I haven't heard great things about the reliability of their customer service.
They have an app where outages are posted.. Calling in from the phone number associated with your account will automatically tell you if an outage has been declared in your area. If you don't have internet or are having connection issues and no outage has been declared it is best to just call.
On Demand isn't controlled, run, organized or updated by Mediacom. It is similar to a premium channel and supplied by other sources. They have little to no control. It should be on the HBOGO app. If you have HBO you get the app free, this is true for every channel pretty much... Call into customer service and they will provide you with a username and password to use.
I pay so much for tivo the message I get on my screen is there working on it and shortly it'll be back that was several days ago
The phone requires a signature.. So it does require a tech to come out.
Best to get correct answer is to contact Mediacom themselves..
Unable to answer correctly, fail to have ur address, billing up to date, or Mediacom flipped a switch, therefore I suggest in calling Mediacom directly...
