I had gastric sleeve surgery here and am returning to have my gallbladder removed all by Dr. Walton. This place was very nice, had attentive and professional staff, was clean and updated and comfortable. They worked with me when I had issues with the surgery center payment. That's the only issue I had was them calling me last minute to inform me of the payment amount for using the surgery center. That needs to be something that people are contacted about way more in advance that a couple days before. Other than that, I had zero issues and would recommend this place to anyone.

I called and spoke with the director after my bad experience. He was very cordial and helpful. Rescheduled the MRI for this morning. The gentleman this morning was VERY PROFESSIONAL and took care of any needs I had to support my injured foot and my knee that has been replaced. No issues at all today. I am raising my review due to his courtesy and and the handling of my initial visit. WORST MRI OPERATOR EVER!!!! Repeatedly asked and TOLD her that I needed more support under my totally replaced left knee. She continuously argued with me saying she put a pillow there. But she elevated my left foot causing NO SUPPORT!! No concern for my actual comfort at all UNTIL I got up and left. Waste of my time BUT I am sure they will CHARGE THE HELL out of my insurance!!! Save the headache and go somewhere else!

The hospital itself and the staff working there are extremely nice. The billing side is a joke. My daughter had an MRI done, and we received and estimate of $35.00. We have had similar services performed for her there before with the same amount and no issues. Amount was confirmed the morning of the service. I notice a bill in my daughter’s father’s name, not mine, as I am the responsible party and he is only the insurance policy holder several months after the procedure. I opened it even though I shouldn’t have only to find they were billing the wrong person over $700 for the MRI. I called and got a voicemail. A lady called back after I had told her to wait until the next day due to work leaving a message saying they know what they confirmed but I owe the money and it shouldn’t matter who they mail the bill to since the last information shows that my address was the same as her father’s. First off, it does matter, you have a Good Faith Estimate policy. Second, it is none of your business how the dynamics of anyone’s family work. Maybe someone doesn’t want to tell you they are recently separated, or widowed, or they just have that type of relationship. Summit needs to get their act together.

Rudest individuals I’ve ever met. They refuse to give medical records which is against the law. They change your account information including which doctors YOU choose to send the records to. Example: they refuse to send the report/records to the doctor who sent us to get ct scan done. They also removed my approved HIPPAA individual I wrote down and gave them authorization to speak to all because we requested medical records. Don’t go here!
