I dont know why everyone else had bad experiences but i had nice experiences they were not rude to me and absolutely helped me. I dont speak for everyone im sure there r a few bad apples

Pretty much what everyone has said thus far. My personal experience is waiting for 45 minute, getting an operator, being ignored and hung up on. Not great.

Nobody wants to answer phone. I have 3 people on my case and they want to give us only$30 to live off of for 1 month when my husband is without work. He is looking for eff and work but nothing yet

Depends on what the application is for. If it's for employment, look at the posting for where to submit. If it is for assistance, look at the DHS website and find out exactly where it needs to be submitted.

They accept application thruout year. Once submission of appl. to any nearby DHS office then an interview and then they send you link card thru postal mail
Mail wirh the link card should arrive 7-10 days from interview if not contact dhs office you went to
