Our family loves this park. We always go to the prairie maze every fall. We sometimes do some of the festivals they have too.

My friend and I had never been to or heard of this park until about a week ago. We decided to do a Google search for fall festivals and this one came up. This is a beautiful park! It is absolutely lovely.

Went on a few trails and explored the fish maze and it was a peaceful and beautiful experience with my wife and 1 yr old in a stroller

Hi, Curtis! That is pretty neat that you have some family history with the land that is now McCloud Nature Park! The Hendricks County Park Board owns all 232 acres of McCloud, however, and no, hunting for geodes and fossils is not allowed on park property. Since it is a nature park, we don't allow anything to be removed from the park, including geodes and fossils.
Not that I'm aware of. It is a beautiful place for a day outing.
