Staff at time of looking for an apartment were Outstanding with answering questions, providing all the requirements for renting and moving in. After moving in, any maintenance requests were handled quickly and efficiently. They offer to rent Washers/Dryers at a reasonable price as well as provide a laundry building for those that do not want to rent them. They have a pool for those who like to take a dip to cool off during the summer months. During my stay, so far, the staff has been most helpful in providing informational messages via an app that allows you to pay rent through as well, very handy for those that wish to pay that way. They provide free of charge; bug spray service and furnace filter replacement. I, highly recommend this facility to any who need to rent an apartment, you won't find much better than this at the price.

I'm entering my fifth year of residency here and have yet to experience a problem that wasn't handled quickly and cordially by the Staff. Looking forward to more years of the same courtesy and professionalism.

Need to enforce parking when it comes to visitors. You come home and you don't have a place to park, cause neighbors have everybody over. Need to improve vents or require smoking outside. The smoke from neighbors homes come into your unit very strong. Have Asthma don't move here. Have allergies don't move here.

After touring nearly every apartment complex in Elizabeth City, I decided on Southgate manor. The staff were extremely nice and the living conditions were great along with the community. The price was less than the competitors in the area but the quality was better. If you're in need of a pet friendly apartment I highly recommend Southgate manor.

No they're not but the Woodstock apartments are. The newer apartments by farm fresh are income restricted meaning you can't make over a certain amount so they're fairly cheap. There's also a public housing building you can stop by that help low income families find housing.
