Lady CTE
I've known this place to be bustling with employees but now they are few and far between. It takes a lot to complete the duties of those no longer in a position as well as maintain your own. Missed phone calls, unable to reach staff all a result of the inability to hire staff able to perform the job with accuracy and efficiency which is top priority for the staff at PDSS. With that said, please give them a chance to provide you with the service you deserve by being patient with them. You will be serviced as you are their priority. To the staff at PDSS here's a pat on the back when none is given. A job well done when you need to hear it and a hang in there when the work becomes too unbearable and overwhelming as I know it does. Lastly, Thank you for your faithfulness and dedicated service to the citizens of Portsmouth.
Raymond Boone
They got it together.
Stacey Spires
Very efficient

They never do their jobs seriously to help with my case. They don't provide an interpreter for deaf people or return calls and even help. They are not doing good job with their service and even do the math.

Good question
Yes but you have to have had a COVID shot, live there and meet certain financial guide lines.
That is Social security office not Social service office.
Call your social worker
Last I checked, the building was closed to the public but you can get cards or paper after talkin to your worker. And they gave me a card with the site & numbers to apply
Depend on who is being neglected. Child or Senior Citizen.

Typically not. The ED/CD waiver will allow this in extenuating circumstances if there is a language barrier for example.
65 is the beginning age of medicare, not medicaid. When he started recieving ss he should of gotten medicare also. Medicaid you have to apply for at your social service office they will help you and your qualification for help as it pays down youd meficare depends on your income.
HRT has a program that includes reduced fares which requires applying online.
If all documents were turned in and were approved you will receive a letter from social services.
Go online and fill out the application google fuel assistance or cooling
I was half of my date waiting for them to call
Income or lack of and dependants
If you look at your letter closing your case, there should be an appeal address and timing for the appeal. On the website is an appeal form also. Your social worker should be able to answer your question I am sure.
I would call tomorrow to see when they will open. You might check online to see if your question can be answered there as well.
It's normally it sent separately. If you haven't received it go in pick it after 1pm
Keep your head up kid things won't get any easier as an adult. You'll realize that in this world you have to make your own way. No service the government provides will be an answer at best it's temporary help if you get it. Even though it feels like it your not in this world alone. I know that's not much of an answer. The government sucks. Youll have to do it without them. You can though. Don't doubt yourself. Especially when it looks hopeless. Its not.
