From Gate Guard, Base Commander won’t allow rejection state inspection stickers on base even though residents have 19 days to fix problems and re-inspect, per state law. Ridiculous! Hate this place!
Trash roads, trash parking lots, UNSAFE, terrible place! Would not recommend!

The shipyard doesn’t close completely, but in general most people leave for the holidays and there’s a week off around Christmas and New Year’s where work is suspended
There are no unarmed security jobs at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The company for the guard service is HBC. Best to look at individual companies and the DCJS certification requirements

Depends. If you apply for a job, make sure you list it on your security clearance paperwork. If not, then it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll lose the job once they find it.
