Usually they're more reliable than the post office, and definitely more reliable than FedEx... but it depends on which UPS location. I never had a problem with the ones in Iowa or in Kentucky, however the one in Indiana is average. Usually they do a good job, today was not one of those moments. What I hate is when a company lies. Instead of just saying delay, they wrote "delivery attempted" - complete BS. First, I'm home all day; but more importantly, I have cameras that look at my front door/porch area, and cameras that look out on to the street - there was never even a UPS truck that went by. Second, UPS has it as "out for delivery" in Plainfield, IN - I'm in Franklin, IN. Obviously they loaded the package on to the wrong delivery truck. They should have just stated your delivery is delayed, instead of lying about an "attempted delivery", because delays are understandable, but lying to a customer is just terrible and unethical business conduct.

You have to write the IRS..there is a form you have to fill out. . Easy peasy

If you are working at UPS now - disregard. To answer your question you don't call them they contact you via call an email. This is usually explained during your tour interview.
