I moved here from SC. The Holy Spirit led me to COTC, and I never went to another church! Excellent teaching, fellowship and worship. Anointed leadership, full of the Holy Spirit, and a church that believes Jesus still does miracles!

I’m 60 years old, am a Middle Tennessee native, and have lived in Franklin most of my adult life. I’ve been a “stakeholder” (member) and worshipped at the Church of the City since it was The People’s Church (in the same building). I love this church, the leadership, the fellowship, and the depth of worship I have always experienced here. I’ve always supported it greatly with my prayers and offerings. Sadly, and only recently, I have been stopped in the sanctuary on more than one occasion by “church security” to inspect my backpack. The first time, I cooperated. The next time I refused. After contacting one of the churches elders we had known for many years, my wife was told that at any given time, there was up to 30 plain clothes security officers surveilling the crowds during the services. This is in addition to the visible Franklin police presence seen around the property during worship services. I’m also a career, international airline pilot. With full credentials, I’m use to searches, pat-downs, questioning, probing, and even detainment, but that is to be expected as I must operate in highly sensitive and secure areas. I don’t expect such treatment, however, in America, and where I choose to freely worship. If you want a deep, worshipful experience, where I believe the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ is taught, The Church of the City is the place to be. Just be aware that while you think you are worshiping freely, you are under constant surveillance and scrutiny. I get enough surveillance and scrutiny in my work, and from my government. I shouldn’t have to deal with this where I choose to worship. I’m now looking for a new place to worship, and don’t recommend Church of the City if you share these same concerns.

Yes, it is a Southern Baptist church.
This song is called God Turn it Around. I believe it's available on all streaming services.
It's not specifically for seniors, but it's mostly seniors. It's called the chapel praise service and it has been meeting at 8 a.m. on Sundays, but this Sunday moves to 9 a.m. It is down the hall from the main worship center, and easy to find. Traditional music, southern gospel. The preaching is played on a video screen from the other room.
I'm almost positive it will be 9 am, 11 am, 1pm.
