Absolutely easy. I needed to sell a car that I no longer used. I tried Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. I received so many spam calls and texts advertising my car that way. I looked online to see if there would be an easier, no hassle way to sell the car. I looked up CarMax and Carvana. I decided on CarMax because the online offer was way more reasonable than Carvana's offer. I made an appointment to take my car to CarMax to have the car inspected. The online offer remained the same. The entire process took about an hour from beginning to end. The representative I dealt with kept me informed, had paperwork ready to sign, notarized my title, and DONE. I'll definitely use CarMax again when I need to sell a vehicle.

My sister just got her car from here. Couple things. They did fix the dent on the vehicle and that repair looks great BUT They did a terrible Job detailing it, luckily im a Detailer! Plus the rear driver side had over spray from something else they were painting which was hard to remove. The inside also smelled like dirty water so I had to do a full Detail inside too, full seat removal and all and still pulled up dirty chocolate water. 🤷♂️ If you get your Used car from here hit me up! I'll have it really looking like new!

Know what u want. Do some research and other pricing so you walk in informed. Any car dealer, new or used will push for a sale so do your homework. Mother bought there, reasonable price, friendly staff. Service dept. Just ok...
They buy your car weather you buy there's or not so I would think they would take a trade in.
Yes, they will explain how you could sell them a car you still have payments on, and there are several options. But if you are 'underwater' (you owe more on the loan than what the car is currently actually worth) it may not be prudent or beneficial for you to do so.
