Beautiful fall colors. Wonderful staff. Not crowded.

Great park with beautiful views. The north and south ridge roads are narrow and winding, offering spectacular views of the forests. There are many trails to hike along the upper ridges. Make sure to bring water and proper footwear as you can go from flat and easy to steep and challenging within 50 yards.
I reserved for the weekend of May 22, I’ve recently seen a Facebook post in regards to it being closed down because of a road falling apart. Does anybody know if they are open back up? I reserved But what do I do if we arrive after 6 PM

I have no clue.
You will have to call or I can call them.
Probably depends on what type of camping.
U know a tent, rv.
I think they also rent the shelters out.
The ones without a shower close or a port a potty
Ya I think so I was staying at the general cove campsite and I saw a silhouette up on the side of the hill when I climbed up to the spot the next morning, the branch that I saw next to its shoulder was about 2 and a half feet over my head and I'm 6 foot. So it had to atleast be 9 foot. I think it was 2012 or 2013.
We would like to camp at the park next Thursday October 17th. Unfortunately, we did not reserve a site in advance. I see there are 8 walk in electric sites. Do the walk in electric sites usually fill up on a Thursday night this time of year?
