Camped for the weekend with the family. We had a great time. The Rangers were very nice and helpful. Clean campsite and bathrooms. River was awesome for the kids. Fire pits for roasting marshmallows. Not every camp site has a bbq though. We will be going back to camp some more.

Good place for camping. It has multiple camping sites with a lot of shades. The major advantage is that it has got flowing river water, not much deep. Kids love it.

If I like it a lot but the bad thing is that people leave a lot of garbage and it doesn't tend to pick up the minimum amount of garbage that we leave
It's not worth a $10 entry fee. Maybe $5. I won't be back. Tullock lake I pay $10. That's worth it
Yep! Need to be on a leash or attended at all times and of course clean up the poop. Typically not allowed to bring them to the water but I went when no one was around and host and rangers didn't mind. If you go past the group area there is a separate beach area I took the dogs to when people were around and no one was at the other beach

I believe that camping is outdoors, but what they do have to know is the days to be able to do it.
Not on the main beach, but if you follow the dirt path to the right, you will find another area (South Beach) where they will be allowed.
I camp their several times every year and always take my dog. Be sure to keep pets on a leash.
Yes you should and you should make a reservation a few days early cause the park is commonly full
Yes it is great for that but since its a river it can flow fast occasionally but is usually perfect for swimming and wading
I believe it's first come first serve. I do know it's $10 for general population $9 senior discount for up to 9 passenger per vehicle.
