Lawrence county animal shelter is hands down the most caring animal shelter I’ve worked with! I’ve adopted several dogs…scooby, bandit, spike and a couple cats as well from here! I’ve also worked here helping with care of the animals. Loved helping out here! LCAS has great system to help find stray, hungry, abandoned, lost, and frightened dogs and cats new safe homes with awesome pet owners. All animals here are properly given their 5/1 shots. They are fed daily, given treats, fresh water, walked, played with, and cleaned after…. keeping it a healthy, comfy, and safe environment for the animals, and everyone else! LACS runs smoothly with special care and attention from all its staff full of super heroes starting with the dog warden Ronnie Hatfield aka the enforcer! Ronnie makes sure that anyone who neglects, abuses, or harms any animals are properly dealt with! Ronnie is very fair! Don’t neglect or abuse your animals people! No nonsense denise Paulus has really turned this place around for the best! Thanks to her help, the animal shelter was able to renovate the kennels, cat shack, the entire shelter to make it a safer place to prevent parvo outbreaks, and give these animals the care they deserve! Animal advocate make it happen melissa nicely is the lifeline of this place making 100% sure all animal find the right homes with the right owners! She dedicates her time to adopting, finding rescues, and even driving 10-12 hour round trips taking abandoned animals to rescues all over the state of Ohio! Adam myers adam myers adam myers! This guys beard is it’s own superhero! Adam is basically a do it all guy and does everyone’s jobs as needed for that day, whether helping owners get their new dog tags, to rounding up stray or nuisance dogs, to cleaning the kennels himself. Adam does everything here! Or his beard does 🤔 Overall this is an excellent place to help out with dogs and cats! You can also buy your dog tags here as well at discount prices during certain months usually in December/January. They also euthanize old suffering pets humanely for hurting and sad pet owners. Volunteers are welcomed to help out as well. Just walking a dog can make the biggest difference! Lastly thanks for everyone’s contributions here for making this a great CARING animal shelter! Everyone here deserves a raise for going above and beyond! Thank you LCAS giving my animals care when I needed it, and thank you for adopting me some of the best lovable adorable pets you could ever imagine! Please keep up the good work there! Most important is all animal have souls and remember that it’s ALL ABOUT the animals! Shout outs to superhero sidekicks dewey do all and big banking Brandon! Keep up the good work dudes!

I believe it's not i just got my 4 month old puppy from there 2 weeks ago
I'm not sure. I'll try and find out. The LCAC is trying to reach you.
Brenda Webb are they safe and has mom come back yet? If you need assistance contact me on Facebook and I can further assist and put you in contact with rescues and advocates. We can help trap the mom as well. If you cant find my profile by name, search Friends of Greenup Paws.
I would say they could. They simply live off of donations cause they aren't funded for cats. I do know that. Call them and I'm sure they would be happy to have it
I would call the police tonight and they will contact the dog warden
You have to get certain degrees and licenses I suggest you have a few acres of land and do some studying before you decide to get a Wolf Dog. You must be ready to train and take care of them. The chance of you getting one from a pound is slim I suggest a breeder or a shelter designed for this.
U can call them and ask and if not they can look when they r at and u can leave your number incase they find that animal as far as picking up not sure I believe they do if they see the animal out on the street or someone calls on that animal.
Contact your local humane society, animal shelter, dog warden, or sheriff's office. You could also contact someone like ASPCA for more information.
I don't know the number to the dog warden but u can call the shelter and they can give u the number or u can look it up I think it's on there as well.
Don't know the answer i don't work their
Thanks for the answers. I'm definitely calling tomorrow. I appreciate it so much!
No
I don't own a cat so I don't know.
Yes they have a stray cat program. Not sure if there is a fee or not.
You need to check the shelter again I volunteer there and we don't use bleach
