Dropped off my motorcycle crankshaft on 9/22/2021 to have it measured for straightness. Was told it was a 15 minute job and it would be done first of the week. 9/29 I ask about the progress, and Ernest Baker (owner) says he will do it tomorrow (Thursday and not first of the week). Today (10/4) I call first thing in the morning and he says he will do it first thing. No phone call by 2:30 so I show up at his store (3:30) to find him sitting at his desk and a lower unit from a outboard laying on the box with my crankshaft in it (it never moved from the spot I left it in almost 2 weeks ago). I complained about the estimated time, lack of work, and most of all that someone else’s part was laying on mine. He told me to pick it up and throw it over there (anywhere apparently) and leave (the conversation was much longer). I picked it up and held it until he either told me a good spot to put it down where it wouldn’t get damaged (he never did) so the employee sitting at the desk across from him stood up and took it from me. I can promise you I will never use this guy but hey good luck with your business…
