Why do people even answer wit guesses? .. We fly a LOT, having several family members working for airlines & a deal flight hunter (lol). I have family members that have never traveled *without* booze in their *checked* baggage. Sealed, regular size bottles (not gallons). People who don't bring toiletries/use the hotel's, can fill the toiletry bottles to go into a quart bag. No more than 3.4oz. Certainly wouldn't advertise.. Add to a water bottle beyond security (you can bring an empty one) or purchased juice/pop. Current, 2018, TSA says: Beverages: Wine and all of your favorite beverages are permitted in your checked baggage. You can also bring beverages packaged in 3.4 oz or less bottles in your carry-on in the liquids bag. Just because you can pack alcohol doesnβt mean that you can drink them on the flight. FAA regulations state that βNo person may drink any alcoholic beverage aboard an aircraft unless the certificate holder operating the aircraft has served that beverage.β
A 14 year old can fly alone by him/herself and will be well taken care of, but you will have to pay an Unaccompanied Minor fee. I think it is $50.
Under age 2 but they have to sit on your lap. They do not get an actual seat.
Yes
The airport retained the name of Harding Field until March 10, 1954. On this day, the Parish Council of East Baton Rouge, acting upon the unanimous recommendation of the East Baton Rouge Airport Commission, that Harding Field shall in the future be known as Ryan Airport in memory of Captain William Joseph Ryan. A plaque containing the resolution identifies some of Captain Ryanβs contributions and achievements are hung in the Airport Terminal Building today.
Please check with each airline for current policies and pricing.
Yes, but make sure your vaporizer is not in your checked bag as the batteries are prohibited in the cargo holds.
with connections
Like Melissa said yes. If you go to the Delta ticket counter and look left there is a little hallway. It is down there on the left wall
It's easiest to purchase anything you want to drink on the plane once you have cleared TSA. Usually if you ask a flight attendant for a bottle of water as you are boarding they will just hand you one
I would think it'd be ok as long as it is under 4 oz.
Absolutely not
Google maps works well, or MapQuest.
Delta, American and United
BTR only offers flights to major airline hubs. For example Delta flies to Atlanta, American flies to Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth, and United flies to Houston. So to travel to Denver you'll have to catch a connecting flight or two from a hub.
You'll have to review TSA guidelines.
You will have to check it. It looks too large to be used as a carry-on so it won't get past security.
Very safe and availability on that day should be good
A drivers liscense from any US stqte for all people 16 and older
It would be smart to go through travelocity, and depends on the date you want to travel. The further ahead you book your tickets they are a cheaper cost!
Yes it is, this Airport has Airport taxis that pay to wait out front so...you're lucky you haven't been ticketed! Uber/Lyft drivers have to park and wait off site.
Yes but if they think something inside is suspicious they will open them.
Only if you share it with the other passengers.
Business time is approximately 4:30 am
No. BTR only goes direct to houston, Dallas, and charlotte
Yes, but you can't smoke on the flight.
At least by 630 it's not hard to get checked in and go through security at BTR
There are no specific direct flights to BTR from China...American does fly from Beijing to BTR with layovers in one of their hubs (Charlotte, Chicago, etc.)
Yes
Baton Rouge airport has several rental car agencies at the airport. You can get one there as well as return it there. It is downstairs by baggage claim.
No
BTR only offers flights to major airline hubs. For example Delta flies to Atlanta, American flies to Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth, and United flies to Houston. So to travel to Oklahoma you'll have to catch a connecting flight or two from a hub. For times of flights to hubs you'll have to look at BTR's or the airline's website.
Just flew out of BTR today, with pre check. Had to remove my laptop
No
No. Almost all flights from BTR go to Houston, Dallas, Charlotte or Atlanta. You can get direct flights from those hubs though
