Large ren fair. Great way to spend a day. Get there early so you can see all the shows and vendors.

Yes but they must be peace tied. Means they must be sheathed at all times and cannot be pulled out. They will actually zip tie it for you at the front gate.
Yes you can purchase tickets there. To be absolutely sure you should call to be sure
Yeah...it can be...but they are pretty good at keeping it up.
It's every Saturday /Sunday in November and the first 2 weekends in December. Also, the last Friday in November.
Yes. Yup. Best bet is to check there web site or call them for correct information.
It should be good
I would also say cash, but some of the venders do take cards, however they charge a fee, because they are charged fees for excepting them. It really depends or what you plan to buy.
To have a booth, you need to email the faire and send in an application. All the information should be available on thier website. Good luck!
Water is fine. We brought a small ice chest of water.
It's like that year round. The Ren fest itself is only open for 6 weeks though.
There are a few special events (tea with the queen, beer and whiskey tastings) and games and rides that require additional fees. Food and drink are also available for purchase. For the most part, everything else is covered by the entry fee. The stage shows are free, though the performers do work for tips, so having a few dollars to put in the hat is extremely appreciated.
Yes, 50% off this weekend
The above answers are both correct, actually. At 9:45, the cast performs an opening ceremony which lasts about 15 minutes. Afterwards, the gates are officially opened for guests to enjoy the faire!
Yes. Tuesday through Thursday that week are considered School Days at the Faire.
You should call them for the most accurate answers
To walk the whole fest a good mile
Camping is during all weekends of renn fest. Check in time is after 3pm on Friday and checkout time is by noon on monday. The cost for electric tent camping is 50.00 that includes all fees and taxes.
You can do whatever you want.
They have good food, mostly the same as any ren faire. Turkey legs, meat on a stick, all the cajun favorites (gumbo, jambalaya, etc.) They also have all sorts of great desserts like cheesecake on a stick, donuts, ice cream, funnel cakes and more. It's always been pretty good. Word of warning, the Turkey legs are popular and can sometimes run out.
Call and make reservations. Schools go during the week and it's kid friendly
Go on there website it should be covered. Google Louisiana renfair it should come up.
o
There are specific smoking areas around the lake. There might be more- I'm unsure
Around 5pm. They're open a little later on the last weekend for fireworks, but parts of the park will still close around 5pm.
Rustic and RV camping is available on-site. Reservations are made on www.larf.net. Click on "Lodgings" and "Reserve your spot". Camping is a lot of fun and you get to meet some very interesting characters. We camp every year.
Yes, there is a wheelchair accessible port a potty
5pm is closing time and just about all vendors are also closed by that time. You also hear the cannon fire that lets everyone know its closed. As well as at the entrance you tend to see people dancing and playing music.
When we went it was closer to 13 a person i don't know where anyone is eating for 8
A lot do, and a lot don't. Most people who dress up are normally staff... Or that's how it was last time I went. Have fun there!
Not unless the bike is based in 18th centenary. They like to keep things authentic
There is no fairy specific weekend that I know of. Be a fairy anytime! You can visit http://www.larf.org/themed-weekends for a list of the specific themes.
Yes but everything is all cleaned up and working like normal. That place has a knack of Keeping the grounds clean presentable and running like . You would not have known the difference.
The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is open for six consecutive weekends every year, starting with the first Saturday in November. It is also open on the Friday after Thanksgiving. In 2019, it is open Nov. 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, Nov. 29-Dec. 1, and Dec. 7-8.
Most travel from Festival the festival If you looking for one individually they usually have websites you should get a card whenever you see them
One day admission was $20 for adults, $12 for kids, kids 6 and under are free
Yes, definitely could put together a number of choices at a few places within the Festival, there is quite a number of food vendors. Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine would be my first suggestions.
They have a show three times a day, while it's open. The final show is the joust.
There are so many costume types that it's impossible to say. You'd have to go there and choose. I didn't rent one. I was already dressed up but I remember looking at them and most were inexpensive.
Nah fam. One day admission is $20 for adult and $12 for child. Season pass is $125 for adule and $65 for child. Feiends of faire is $160 for adults and $75 for child. Group rates (ten tickets or more) is $7 for adults anf $9 for child. Hope ot helps!
